Overview
Saferight is proud to offer the RIIMPO324F – Conduct civil construction grader operations certification. This grader training course in Perth is aimed at those currently working or seeking work in operational roles in the mining and construction industries who are required to operate a grader.
Students will attain the theoretical knowledge and the practical application to conduct civil construction grader operations properly and will be able to:
Plan Grader Operations: Access and apply operation documents, confirm work instructions, identify hazards, select PPE, arrange traffic signage, choose grader equipment, prepare for emergencies, and coordinate with site personnel.
Operate Grader: Conduct prestart checks, identify and rectify faults, drive and operate grader effectively, monitor hazards and equipment performance, and conduct post-operation inspection.
Grader Attachments: Select, fit, test, and use attachments as per procedures, and store them post-use.
Relocate Grader: Prepare for relocation, move grader safely, assist in loading/unloading as required.
Conduct Housekeeping: Clear work area, manage hazards, and complete necessary documentation.
This course consists of two essential components: Theoretical and Practical.
Saferight Earthmoving courses use hands-on training in real-world settings, WITHOUT the use of simulators.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years old and above
Ability to read, write and understand English
Present photo I.D. on arrival
Complete a ‘Fitness to Complete Training’ form upon arrival at the training facility. The student is required to declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation
Wear steel cap boots and remove all jewellery prior to commencement
Bring along a hi-vis vest

This grader training course will utilise the WCM140 model with 92kw rated power, and 3650x500x16mm (L x W x H) blade size.

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
