Overview

Blended, online + face to face delivery, course duration 2-4 hours (approx)

Upon Completion of online learning students will be able to book in a face-to-face practical session Monday to Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm. The practical assessment takes approximately 15-30 minutes to complete and you will receive your white card on the day once you have completed.

“The White Card Course equips you to work safely in the construction industry, covering crucial safety protocols, risk assessment techniques, and accident prevention. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment and a WorkSafe WA White Card, which is a mandatory requirement for working on construction sites in Western Australia.

Upon booking and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the e-learning module through our Learning Management System (LMS).

Delivery mode

Blended Delivery: Start with our interactive e-learning module at your own pace, and then schedule a face-to-face practical assessment at our Northbridge training facilities. We have appointments available everyday Monday to Friday. Whilst we recommend you book a time slot, we will also aim to accommodate walk ins – please be mindful, however, there may be a wait time.

Your Statement and Attainment and White Card will be issued once your practical assessment has been completed.

Duration and Accessibility

The online module typically takes between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete, depending on English proficiency level.

Same day turnaround: Complete your e-learning module before 3 PM to enjoy the convenience of a same-day practical assessment.

Eligibility

English language proficiency:

Effective communication is crucial for safety in the construction industry therefore to enrol in this course you must have a conversational level of English. During the assessment, you must be able to understand instructions, clearly answer questions, and engage in discussions in English. You will also need to read and understand signs and procedures, as well as write brief notes and complete basic forms.”

Location:

WorkSafe Construction Induction Training cards (White Cards) can only be issued to learners who are physically located in Western Australia at the time of their assessment.
